Airlie Beach is located about 1100 kms from Brisbane and 640 from Cairns so you'll get to see a lot of beautiful Queensland scenery along the way. There are domestic flights into the Whitsunday Coast Airport in Proserpine, 25 minutes’ drive from Airlie Beach. Scenic flights and helicoptor tours leave from Whitsunday Airport just six kilometres from Airlie Beach. If you drive you'll leave the Bruce highway at the Airlie Beach / Shute Harbour exit just north of Proserpine.There is train service to Proserpine and coach service directly to Airlie Beach.
