Things to do in Port Noarlunga - Adelaide Beaches:

Historic Port Noarlunga was once a haven for sailing ships at the mouth of the Onkaparinga River. Here the Wetlands Trail boardwalk winds through a recreational park bristling with birdlife. The Echidna and Nature trails explore a rugged gorge contrasting sharply with the local terrain, all of which capture the Aboriginal essence of the area. With it's safe beach and an underwater trail for snorkellers, fishing and scuba-divers, the area is said to be the second most popular land based scuba dive in Australia.

The Fleurieu Peninsula stands just 3kms out of town and is a coathanger shaped strip of land bounded by water which tempers the region's sunny Mediterranean climate. Nearby the popular 'must see' McLaren Vale is a region entrenched with history and fine wine, most importantly Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Vineyards include Reynella and Clarendon to the North, Kangarilla on the Eastern Boundary, Aldinga on the coastal edge to the West, and in the South, Mount Compass and Sellicks Hill.

An enticing treat includes the 'Fleurieu Gourmet Food Trail' stopping off at berry farms, cheese factories and scenic Mt.Compass and for the Keen Golfer there are more than a dozen golf courses which include - Links Lady Bay, McCracken Country Club, the Victor Harbor Golf Club, the Fleurieu Golf Course near Mount Compass, and South Lakes.

Port Noarlunga is a coastal town about 35 kilometers south of Adelaide in South Australia located adjacent to the Onkaparinga River Estuary.

From Airport: Turn left out of airport onto Sir Donald Bradman Drive(A6), then left onto Tapleys Hill Road(A15)- which takes you all the way to Port Noarlunga(A15). Continue south over the 'Onkaparinga River' and turn right onto 'Weatherald Tce' roundabout, which takes you up onto the Esplanade, we are just around the corner.
