Our new property "Hahndorf Motel and Apartments" is currently being built. We have recently completed the first stage of this development. The new facilities include 15 rooms with combinations of single, double and twin rooms.

Furnished with comfort in mind, our air conditioned suites have queen size beds, tea and coffee making facilities, foxtel, wireless internet and remote televisions. The rooms are set in tranquil garden surroundings.

In the future this property will offer Standard Rooms with king or king single beds, Superior Rooms with queen beds, Self contained ground or first floor Family Rooms and Indulgence Rooms with king beds and plasma televisions located above the car park overlooking the creek.

Hahndorf is "Australia's Oldest German Town". Even today there is still a strong German flavour in Hahndorf, most evident in the smallgood outlets and German bakeries. The Hahndorf Inn Hotel's award winning restaurant offers traditional German fare, exclusive German beers and a delightful range of local favourites.

Near Hahndorf, you can pick your own strawberries at Beerenberg. More recently, Beerenberg has established an international reputation for its interesting and varied jams, home style pickles, chutneys and sauces. Beerenberg jams are now served on major airlines within Australia, and on overseas routes, and in many leading hotels. Beerenberg products are now found in 23 countries. There are also several good winery cellar doors in the area. Hahndorf also has plenty of souvenir shops, craft outlets and galleries.
