We offer guests twenty four rooms with two main styles of room: the Queen and the Executive. We also have a small number of family rooms and self-contained rooms as well as some unique style accommodation including "The Loft" - a self-contained suite, and the "Stables". The Old Bakery Inn is in the heart of the city; close to the area's many tourist attractions including Launceston's Cataract Gorge. You can also visit the Launceston Sea Port, Penny Royal World, the Ritchies Mill Art Centre or Sea Horse World.

Beer and wine connoisseurs are well catered for in this region. Visit Boags Brewery established in 1853 on the banks of the Esk River or take the Tamar Valley Wine route, north of Launceston where the mild summers and long autumn days produce crisp cool climate wines. Further afield visit the world renowned Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, a 2.5 hour drive from Launceston via the Bass Highway. The park features Tasmania's highest mountain, the 1,617-metre high Mt Ossa, while another beautiful national park, the Walls of Jerusalem, abutts its eastern boundary.

February is a big month in Launceston with such events as the MSFEST, one of Tasmania's largest music festivals held in the riverside setting of Inveresk Park, with a huge day of fun and music in the sun, while later in the month Tasmania's premier racing event, the Launceston Cup and Carnival, offers a fantastic day of racing, entertainment and fashion.

The Old Bakery Inn is located in Launceston, the second largest city in Tasmania. We are located on the corner of York and Margaret Streets, just follow the signs to Beauty Point. We are approximately 15 minutes drive from the Launceston airport and 60 minutes from the Spirit ferry in Devonport.
